Bill is a former general counsel to the Office of the Governor of the State of Texas for Governor Rick Perry and is currently principal and owner of The Jones Firm, a public law and government relations firm in Austin, Texas. He also serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System and is licensed to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States.
Bill holds a Juris Doctor degree from Baylor University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University.
